Hoda Ait Rahou — Founder, ArgaWise

Hello,

I’m Hoda, Business school grad from Toulouse, France & converted esthetician in Las Vegas, NV

Berber by birth and attitude, Moroccan by heritage and American by heart and geographic position. Growing up in Marrakech, Morocco, in a berber family hailing from both the Souss region and the high Atlas, I spent many a vacation week in the beautiful region where Argan trees grow.

Although, I watched for years, women (and some men) oil their hair, face and bodies with Argan, I didn’t escape my own period of using harsh products for the very same purposes. The burning hair dyes, the never ending cycles of buying the always one up miracle cream.

Call it what you may, upon one of my stints back in Morocco a few years ago, I found myself more willing to listen to my elders telling me about the virtues of Argan oil. Maybe it was what the production of Argan oil was doing for local women independence and dignity. I decided to make it my main hair and skin treatment. I was hooked, the rest is history and now, ArgaWise.

For ArgaWise, I have painstakingly selected for you the very purest oil available to craft the products you’ll find here. I hope you’ll take the time to peruse the site. Let me know what you love and what you don’t. I love notes and questions and look so very much forward to getting to know you.

Here’s to health, simplicity … and Argan oil!

She’s such a grand girl. Chase thinks his mom is so beaituful and so do I! Congratulations to a dog that really deserves things like the Register of Merit and CWCCA Award of Merit, and a big meaty bone for dinner.
